“Freckles” to MANNY!

Somewhere in the US there are innocent puppies being mistreated.  Raids on puppy mills happen almost weekly, and rings of dog fights are broken several times a week across the country.  This treatment of animals cannot continue.  Humane Societies throughout the US are readily available to combat this behavior.  The Seattle Humane Society is one of these facilities.

I recently watched a movie that explored the ability of the U.S. Government to do unspeakable things in pursuit of information. Then I reflected on my comments from To Kill a Mockingbird. How many horrible acts are allowed in light of clearly being wrong. There was time when things said in this video were supposedly true. I hope guilt, fear, and ignorance do not take over again.

In business and life it takes hard work along with guts to be unique. This video show you how being unique can make a routine experience awesome. This flight attendant gets Southwest Airlines tons of free publicity and advertising. During what could have been a boring moment he used hip hop to get passengers into the act. Notice how the demeanor of the passengers improved. How could your business or life be improved with a little uniqueness? It was fun for the attendant and instantly connected him with the passengers. One really cannot go wrong with hard work, guts, fun, and uniqueness. How many of these tools do you invoke on a daily basis?

Shampooing was not always a daily activity. From my experience being green tends to costs more money. Unless you go old-school green. Many of the things we do or take for grated were not the norm back in the day. We all have money draining habits that give us pleasure. Latte anyone? If you are really pinched for cash NPR offers a solution go no-poo. Stretch the wash cycle and you may have a few bucks extra in the piggy bank. This maybe a little extreme for some, but the go green and save some green movement is here to stay.

Recently, a famous actress died from a fall while skiing. Can’t we all point to examples when it seems life is cut short. When serving clients we plan for life the day after your death. We must answer tough questions and make plans for that uncertain future. Take the time to ask these tough questions because once you are gone it is too late.
